Our Approach to Patient Care

We believe in a patient-centered approach. What do we mean by patient-centered? We develop individual care plans based on your symptoms rather than a textbook definition. We know that medical knowledge is very important but it’s only as good as our ability to adapt it to you as an individual. Nothing done as PSI is part of a pre-set treatment plan as it is our goal is to find the most holistic approach to your care.

A holistic approach means that our conversations will include classic and natural medicine. We will incorporate modern science, Western medical training, surgical options and our knowledge of pharmaceutical medications with diet and nutrition, herbals, the use of cosmeceuticals, light-based therapies, natural oils, and probiotics. As research is constantly changing our knowledge of clinical medicine our providers are constantly integrating new techniques.

As our dermatologists have been teachers, mentors, and researchers we understand the importance of continued education. Our philosophy is to pass along new techniques and knowledge while providing top-notch care, for this reason, you may see medical and nursing students spend rotations at PSI.
